PhD RESEARCHER — CYBERSPACE ENGINEERING
Mehrab Hosain
I work on post-quantum cryptography, blockchain security, and digital forensics — building systems that hold up when the threat model changes.

ABOUT
Builder turned researcher.
Before the PhD I spent a decade running digital operations and engineering for media networks, production houses, and companies across 15 countries. That operator’s instinct now drives research in post-quantum cryptography, blockchain security, and digital forensics — work aimed at systems that stay trustworthy as the threat model shifts.
RESEARCH FOCUS
Four threads, one question: what survives the next threat model.
Post-quantum cryptography
Consensus families and signatures that resist Shor- and Grover-class attacks.
Blockchain security
Attack vectors, quantum-safe transitions, and trust models for distributed ledgers.
Digital forensics
Steganography, steganalysis, and evidence integrity in adversarial settings.
ML & signal processing
Speech, biometrics, and edge-deployed detection — from EWT to deep models.
